Rovos Rail is to Africa... what the Orient Express is to Europe.
The Pride of Africa  is one of the World’s Top 25 Trains for its "outstanding accommodations, public spaces, cuisine, service, and off-train sightseeing opportunities." Rovos Rail operates seven itineraries in southern Africa, with trips ranging from three to nine days. The principal route is between Pretoria and Cape Town; most trips are available in reverse and can be combined with land excursions.
