Day 1: Arrive Buenos Aires, Argentina
Arrive by overnight flight to Argentina’s capital, Buenos Aires. Early check-in is guaranteed and if desired, a buffet breakfast may be taken upon arrival in the hotel’s restaurant. (Available during hotel restaurant’s regularly scheduled breakfast service.) After settling into your hotel, embark on an orientation tour of the surrounding area with your private A&K guide, with a stop at Recoleta Cemetery, the final resting place of Eva Perón.

Known as the “Paris of South America,” the city’s European influences are on display in the architecture, cuisine and other facets of daily life. Stroll the lovely parks and gardens of Palermo; the charming quarters of San Telmo, birthplace of the tango; the bustling banking and business center; and the working-class barrio of La Boca, home to the renowned Boca Juniors soccer team. This evening, learn basic tango steps before attending a dinner and tango show at a renowned Buenos Aires venue.

Day 3: Iguazu Falls, Brazil
Breathtaking CascadesFly to Iguazu Falls, visiting its spectacular Brazilian side. The falls are one of the most impressive sights in the world, with a breathtaking 275 cascades that spread across a gulf of nearly two miles. They are located in the lush Iguazu National Park, a sprawling forest that is home to rare wildlife such as macaws, toucans, monkeys and crocodiles. Lodge in the only hotel in the park, a short walk from the mighty cataracts.

Day 4: Iguazu Falls, Argentina

Snow-Peaked WonderlandThis morning, explore the best kept secrets of scenic Bariloche, a panoply of lush hills, snow-topped peaks and lakes reflecting a crisp blue sky. As you walk for about 40 minutes on even terrain alongside your informative guide interpreter, listen to the sounds of the forest, such as the trill of the chucao and the regular pecking of woodpeckers. Taste “the mate,” a traditional, caffeine-rich infused drink.
